A gunman walked into a restaurant in Columbus, Ohio Sunday evening and opened fire, injuring three people before fleeing the scene, police said.

The shooting occurred at Park Street Cantina just before 6:45 p.m.

Two males and one female were injured in the shooting, Lt. Larry Yates told Fox News. He said their injuries were non-life-threatening and they are expected to survive their injuries.

The state’s Department of Agriculture (OHDOA) is growing its “Victory Gardens” program during the pandemic, and some of those gardens are going in plots at the Canterbury Community Garden. An Ohio man who allegedly shot and killed his ex-girlfriend at a Bob Evans restaurant where she waitressed was arrested following an 11-hour manhunt Friday night, according to reports.

Rebecca Jean Rogers, 38, was shot multiple times and taken to a hospital where she succumbed to her wounds, police said, according to FOX 8 in Cleveland.

Diners at the Canton, Ohio, restaurant “took cover under tables” on Friday morning when the suspect, Richard James Nelson, 54, allegedly opened fire on Rogers, then ran out the back door, precipitating the manhunt.
