REVIEW: Secret Menu Annual Passholder Exclusive Beverages Should Remain a Secret at Disney’s Animal Kingdom

2 min read

As part of a new weekday promotion at Disney’s Animal Kingdom, an Annual Passholder-exclusive secret menu for four limited-time beverages is now available at Restaurantosaurus Lounge.

Restaurantosaurus Lounge Passholder Secret Menu

The secret menu includes three alcoholic beverages and one non-alcoholic drink.

The Annual Passholder-exclusive beverages are offered in addition to the regular menu at Restaurantosaurus Lounge.

Tyrannosaurus Wreck – $12.00

Blue Curaçao, Crème De Cassis, Diplomatico Rum, Tito’s Vodka, Hendrick’s Gin, Sweet & Sour, and splash of Sprite

This drink has a very strong alcohol flavor. Unfortunately, there is a medicinal grape flavor to it. We can’t recommend this beverage unless you want to drink grape-flavored children’s medicine.

Fossil Fuel – $12.00

Midori, Tito’s Vodka, Sweet & Sour, and lime juice

This neon drink is very tart and strong, but it’s good enough to sip on if that sounds pleasant. It tastes like a standard bar drink, so we’re not sure why it’s hyped up as a secret menu item.

Pterodactyl Punch – $10.50

Parrot Bay, Blue Curaçao, Pineapple Juice, Sour Mix, and a floater of Captain Morgan Spiced Rum

There is a strong artificial pineapple flavor in this drink that overpowers the flavor of the alcohol, which is lacking. Again, why are standard bar drinks from every bar on earth a secret menu?

Triceraberry Pop – $4.99

Monin Wildberry Syrup, lemonade, cranberry juice, and lemon juice. Topped with Sprite and a lemon wedge.

As the only non-alcoholic beverage offered on the secret menu, this drink comes in a paper compostable cup. Though the menu described the drink as topped with a lemon wedge, we did not receive one with ours.

The non-alcoholic offering tastes like a sweetened Sprite and is way too sugary. As you would need a huge sweet tooth to enjoy this drink, kids will probably like it. However, we will say that the beverage is refreshing.

We did not find these drinks to be worth the visit and are somewhat offended that this is the best Disney could offer Annual Passholders. However, you can try them for yourself as they are available weekdays through March 19th. Restaurantosaurus Lounge is located in DinoLand U.S.A. at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and is open 10:30 AM to Park Close.
