Narcotics Division Manage ‘Anti-Drug Poetry Writing Competitors’, Producing Consciousness On Drug Abuse

In an try and generate consciousness on drug abuse and its grave impacts on the lives of residents particularly youth, the Excise & Narcotics Minister Dr Ok. Beichhua as we speak introduced awards to the winners of ‘Anti-Drug Poetry Writing Competitors’ throughout an prize distribution ceremony.

Organized for college & college-goers, the occasion was held at Commissionerate of Excise & Narcotics Constructing Convention Corridor in Aizawl district.

The involved occasion has been organized as a part of an ongoing course of related to its combat in opposition to drug abuse by Ministry of Finance (Division of Income), Narcotic Management, Govt. of India and Excise & Narcotics division, Govt. of Mizoram.

In the meantime, within the faculty class, T. Vanlalchuangkima of Nazareth Greater Secondary Faculty in Aizawl grabbed the primary prize with a money award of Rs. 30,000.

The second place was attained by a pupil of St. Paul’s Greater Secondary Faculty Rody Zotluangpuii, who obtained a money reward of Rs. 20,000.

Moreover, a pupil of Gurukul Grammar Senior Secondary Faculty in Guwahati Ruth Lalthanpuii obtained the third prize with money prize of Rs 10,000. The comfort prizes got to a complete of 10 college students.

Within the School college students’ class, Remali Ruth Blessy of Pachhunga College School grabbed the primary prize with money award of Rs. 50,000.

The Second place went to Lalmalsawma of Govt. Champhai School with money award of Rs. 30,000 adopted by Jason L. Khiangte of Pachhunga College School with a money award of Rs. 20000. Comfort prizes got to 10 college students.
