Iron-deficiency anemia occurs when there is not enough iron in the body. A person can use ingredients containing high amounts of iron and vitamin C to make smoothies that can increase the body’s iron intake.

Red blood cells contain an iron-rich protein called hemoglobin. It helps transport oxygen around the body. Low iron levels can cause a condition called anemia, which is when a person does not have enough healthy red blood cells to carry oxygen to the body’s tissues.

Neon Zebra, which launches on March 1, comes in four non-alcoholic flavors: citrus-flavored Margarita mix, strawbery-lime-flavored Strawberry Daiquiri mix, lime-mint-flavored Mojito mix and a lemon-flavored Whiskey Sour mix. Each can has a graphic to show consumers how to use the product. The recipe is simple: Add half a can of the strawberry daiquiri mix to 1.5 ounces of rum for a strawberry daiquiri. The food and beverage giant started working on the products two years ago, before the coronavirus pandemic shuttered bars. Pepsi had already been tracking the at-home drinking trend, particularly by consumers between the ages of 21 and 34 years old.

“They’re really looking for convenience and high-quality ingredients in their at-home experience,” said Emily Silver, vice president of innovation and capabilities for PepsiCo’s North American beverage business. “The traditional category norm is those big jugs, like those margarita mixers

With Sunday’s ceremony kicking off 2021’s socially distanced awards season, here’s how nominees, L.A. restaurants and wine shops are creating at-home experiences that are both safe and celebratory.

Alexis Martin Woodall hasn’t decided what she’ll wear while celebrating at home during the 78th annual Golden Globes ceremony Feb. 28, but she’s confirmed her drink of choice: a quarter-size Moët & Chandon split bottle as a nod to the champagne brand’s sponsorship of the award ceremony, which is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. “I want to do Moët splits. It will put me in mind of that moment when you’re
