Minutes after Gov. Greg Abbott announced he would remove the mask mandate in Texas, Dallas chefs and restaurant owners who were opposed to the idea took to social media.
“Oddfellows will remain a mask-wearing and mask-enforcing business,” reads an Instagram post from the Oak Cliff-based coffee and brunch spot. “We have many team members who still have not been able to access a vaccine, and we do not feel comfortable removing any layers of protection at this time.”
